Who we are
A firm built around the people who move their lives, families and capital across borders.
USP Consultancy is a legal and consulting firm specialized in helping foreigners establish themselves legally in Colombia. We bring immigration counsel, DIAN tax compliance and investment structuring together in one team — so the people who relocate across borders have a single, accountable partner.
We work as a digital firm: online with our clients anywhere in the world, with a team on the ground across Colombia — for the steps that can only be done in person.
Most firms hand you off between an immigration agent, an accountant and a lawyer. We don't. The same team that secures your visa understands your tax position and your investment — because in real life, those decisions are never separate.
Who is behind USP Consultancy Colombia?
USP Consultancy Colombia is directed by Pablo César Ulcué Bolaños, Founder & Managing Director and Colombian Public Accountant. Your case is handled by a bilingual team that includes Colombian lawyers — attorneys admitted to practice in Colombia — for visas and family law. We work with clients online wherever they are, with nationwide coverage across Colombia, and meet in person when a step requires it.
What sets us apart
Built to do what other firms in Colombia won't.
Our edge isn't price — it's integration. A few things we handle that you won't easily find under one roof.
Colombian visas, end to end
Visitor (V), Migrant (M) and Resident (R) visas — 22 types — handled from your first document to your cédula de extranjería.
U.S. visas, from Colombia
B-1/B-2 visitor visas, K-1 fiancé(e) visas and CR1/IR1 spousal visas — handled here.
U.S. visas →Companies, set up right
SAS company formation with its RUT and registrations in place from day one — not bolted on afterwards.
Business & investment →Family law, fully handled
Civil marriage for foreigners, probate and succession — managed end to end, with the same standard of care.
Family & civil law →One bilingual team
English and Spanish, with real specialization by area — so nothing is lost in translation or between hands.
Digital, with people where it counts
A digital-first firm with a real team on the ground across Colombia for whatever must happen in person — not an offshore intake form.
DIAN compliance, coordinated
When your visa or business brings Colombian tax obligations, we coordinate your filings so they are clear and on time — not a surprise.

And many more, behind every case.
The people above are who you'll meet first. But each case is carried by a wider network of lawyers, paralegals and trusted partners — specialists who are just as essential to the outcome, even when their names don't appear on this page. When your case needs a specific expert, we already know who to bring in.
How we work
Four principles that decide how we treat your case — and what we'll never promise.
Expert, not generalist
Real specialization by area. The person on your case actually practices it — they don't learn it on you.
Direct and clear
Plain answers, no legal fog. You'll understand what we're doing, why, and what it costs — before we start.
Honest about outcomes
No firm can guarantee a visa — the authorities decide. We tell you what's realistic, not what you want to hear.
Close and bilingual
We work in your language and stay reachable. You talk to people who know your case, not a ticket queue.
How to verify us
You shouldn't have to take our word for it. Check us before you hire us.

Questions about USP Consultancy Colombia
Short answers to what people usually ask before trusting us with their case.
What does USP Consultancy Colombia do?
USP Consultancy Colombia helps foreigners and their families settle in Colombia legally. We work on Colombian visas (22 visa types across the Visitor, Migrant and Resident categories), U.S. visa preparation from Colombia, business and investment set-up, and family law, including civil marriage for foreigners.
Is USP Consultancy Colombia a legitimate firm?
Yes. USP Consultancy Colombia is run by its founder, Pablo César Ulcué Bolaños, a Colombian Public Accountant, with Colombian lawyers on visa and family law cases. You can check it yourself: the people who lead your case appear on this page with real photos, you see the cost in writing before work starts, and our Google reviews are public.
Where do you operate?
We are a digital firm with nationwide coverage in Colombia. Most of the work is done online, so we can take your case wherever you are, in any Colombian city or abroad. When a step has to be done in person, our team on the ground meets you there.
Who handles my case at USP Consultancy Colombia?
Every case starts with Client Relations, who receives it, explains the process and its requirements, and assigns it to the right specialist: a Colombian lawyer for visas, property or family law, or our founder for company formation and investment. You are kept informed of filings, pending items and next steps until your case closes.
Does USP Consultancy Colombia work in English?
Yes. Our team works in English and Spanish, and every step, requirement and document is explained to you in English. Colombian authorities work in Spanish, so documents for them are prepared in Spanish while you follow everything in English. Reach us on WhatsApp or at info@uspconsultancy.com, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 17:30 (COT).
Can you guarantee my visa?
No, and no firm honestly can. Colombian visas are decided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Cancillería), and USP Consultancy Colombia is a private firm, not affiliated with Cancillería or Migración Colombia. What we do is check your profile against the official requirements before you apply, tell you what is realistic and prepare a complete, consistent application.
Let's talk about your move.
Tell us where you are and where you want to be. We'll tell you, honestly, how we can help — and how we can't.

Posted on Google![]()
